Ruby and Diamond Vintage Cluster Plaque Ring, 18ct Gold Mount

This stunning oblong Ruby and Diamond plaque cluster ring is set with the added feature of 3 Real Pearls, the central smaller pearl is surrounded by 6 rubies and then the Victorian cut diamonds are set along the remainder of the ring, interspaced with a large Real Pearl at each ends. For both style and comfort the corners are cut at a 45 degree angle.

The ring is curved over the finger and sits very low to the finger. The sides are all hand pierced with a beautiful gallery and the shank is a split shank with leaf centre.

Measures 22.8mm x 15.2mm

The large pendeloque cut citrine has been repolished by ourselves and is held securely with yellow gold claws to compliment the intense orange colour. The citrine is surrounded by 18 brilliant cut diamonds, held with neat 18ct white gold settings. The D shaped 18ct yellow gold shank tapers to a fine point on the settings and on the inside it is punched '18CT'. Citrine = 7.86cts 18 Diamonds = 1.50cts approx. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts.
