Large citrine and diamond cluster ring mounted in 18ct yellow gold. The large pendeloque cut citrine has been repolished by ourselves and is held securely with yellow gold claws to compliment the intense orange colour. The citrine is surrounded by 18 brilliant cut diamonds, held with neat 18ct white gold settings. The D shaped 18ct yellow gold shank tapers to a fine point on the settings and on the inside it is punched ’18CT’.

Citrine = 7.86cts

18 Diamonds = 1.50cts approx.

The centre in this gem cluster is a Victorian cut diamond, which is surrounded by a further 4 Victoria cut diamonds at the quarter. All held in neat grain style settings in platinum. There are then 4 square cut Emeralds positioned in the corners, held in platinum settings. The shank is all in 18ct yellow gold with a nice fine taper towards the setting. One of the Emeralds has two small pieces out, we decided not to replace it, as it would be almost impossible to obtain an emerald to match for colour and brightness, and style of cut for the age of ring.  The inside  of the shank is stamped with an individual No W859 1 Diamonds = 0.30ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.70ct approx. The central oval cut fire opal is held securely with four claws, to either side are twin brilliant cut diamond shoulders and a pendeloque fire opal. To either side of the central diamond are well matched real pearls, both measuring 3.6mm in diameter. The D shape shank tapers from the pearls and inside the shank are Swedish hallmarks. The ring was made in 1942 and typical of this time the 18ct gold mounting is a lovely rosey colour. Diamond = 0.35cts approx. Maker - Gustav Dahlgren & Co. All three a bright, well matched, vibrant pink sapphires and interspaced by three modern brilliant cut diamonds. Following the curvature of the ovals, the middle diamond is slightly smaller and the other two diamonds are much bigger to fill in the space between the pink sapphires. All the mounting is made in 18ct white gold with claw settings. The shank joins in a traditional split leaf and shoulder style finish.
