Three round cut sapphires surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds 3 Sapphires = 1.17cts 12 Diamonds = 0.99ct | Sapphire and diamond classical three stone ring. The lovely bright cornflower blue sapphire in the centre is flanked by an Edwardian cut diamond on either side, all stones being held in neat twin claw settings made from platinum. With a classical chewier tube shank made from 18ct white gold. Sapphire = 0.46ct 2 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. With a baguette cut diamond on either side at right angles to the central amethyst to give width across the finger. These diamonds are set in 18ct white gold rub over settings and the yellow gold shank has split shoulders where the diamonds are set and these splits curving out towards the corner claws. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders.
