Three round cut sapphires surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds 3 Sapphires = 1.17cts 12 Diamonds = 0.99ct | The emerald cut sapphire is held with a yellow gold millegrain setting complimenting the warmth of the blue. Fourteen brilliant cut diamonds surround the sapphire in a white gold millegrain setting and the ring is finished with three diamonds set down the shoulders meeting the yellow gold flat band shank. All mounted in 18ct gold with full struck hallmark inside the band including the commemorative Millennium Mark which could be used during 1999 and 2000. All three a bright, well matched, vibrant pink sapphires and interspaced by three modern brilliant cut diamonds. Following the curvature of the ovals, the middle diamond is slightly smaller and the other two diamonds are much bigger to fill in the space between the pink sapphires. All the mounting is made in 18ct white gold with claw settings. The shank joins in a traditional split leaf and shoulder style finish. The centre in this gem cluster is a Victorian cut diamond, which is surrounded by a further 4 Victoria cut diamonds at the quarter. All held in neat grain style settings in platinum. There are then 4 square cut Emeralds positioned in the corners, held in platinum settings. The shank is all in 18ct yellow gold with a nice fine taper towards the setting. One of the Emeralds has two small pieces out, we decided not to replace it, as it would be almost impossible to obtain an emerald to match for colour and brightness, and style of cut for the age of ring.
