A Georgian style break arch grandfather clock with triple chime movement. A design typical of the work of the London maker William Webster circa 1710.

The cabinet of the Chatsworth is decorated with book matched burr veneers and inlaid with satinwood banding. The case features fluted quarter columns to the trunk and Corinthian pillars to the hood. The hood is removable to allow for movement adjustment. The cabinet is bleached, hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an antique patina.

The case is all English Made from solid Yew and applied with burr yew veneer and beautifully hand polished. The high quality Westminster chime movement plays the Westminster chime very quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 5 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound.
