With each claw set with 4 modern brilliant cut diamonds on the outside and on the left and right of the under bezel of the aqua are 4 further brilliant cut diamonds. The shank is a square section two row split shank, that joins from the very back. This ring was made by Austrian Jewellers Bretterbauer and is stamped with their name and logo. They are a third generation of jewellery makers, with unique and individual pieces made to an exceptionally high standard. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life.
