Central round brilliant cut ruby surrounded by eight brilliant cut diamonds mounted with platinum settings on 18ct yellow gold D shape shank with split shoulders leading up to the head of the ring. The central ruby is a beautiful vibrant, intense red. The stones are held with traditional claw settings in platinum.  On the inside of the shank it is punch with ‘PLAT 18CT’ and a makers reference ‘K917’

    DescriptionCentral round brilliant cut ruby surrounded by eight brilliant cut diamonds mounted with platinum settings on 18ct yellow gold D shape shank with split shoulders leading up to the head of the ring.     		The central diamond is surrounded by four diamond points set in very fine millegrain settings. To either side of the central diamond are well matched real pearls, both measuring 3.6mm in diameter. The D shape shank tapers from the pearls and inside the shank are Swedish hallmarks. The ring was made in 1942 and typical of this time the 18ct gold mounting is a lovely rosey colour. Diamond = 0.35cts approx. Maker - Gustav Dahlgren & Co. Surrounding it are 12 modern brilliant cut diamonds set in to an 18ct white gold square setting, all diamonds are of equal size and each one is held in a very neat 4 claw setting. The ring has 9 diamonds on each shoulder leading up to the central cluster. The mount itself is a millegrain Halo style that allows a wedding ring or an eternity ring to sit flush, as the setting a sits above the ring it is worn next to.
