Central round brilliant cut ruby surrounded by eight brilliant cut diamonds mounted with platinum settings on 18ct yellow gold D shape shank with split shoulders leading up to the head of the ring. The central ruby is a beautiful vibrant, intense red. The stones are held with traditional claw settings in platinum.  On the inside of the shank it is punch with ‘PLAT 18CT’ and a makers reference ‘K917’

Interspaced with calibre Kite shape cut rubies to fill in the outer ring, all held in a smooth 18ct white gold rub over settings. With 2 brilliant cut diamonds to each shoulder, set in white gold. With a broader 18ct yellow gold shank. The shank is made from 18ct white gold. The ring is punched with C & F as the makers, a superb firm started in 1917 and we have dealt with them right through their existence until the closed in the early 2000's. The ring also is punched Pt & 18ct for the metal and then an individual number of 5967, this is all a sign of a quality maker.
