Emerald and diamond Art Deco French cluster ring, platinum mount

This superb Art Deco emerald and diamond cluster ring, with a square cut central Emerald surrounded by 8 Victorian cut diamonds, each set in pairs around the central emerald. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain.

There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926

The central ruby is a beautiful vibrant, intense red. The stones are held with traditional claw settings in platinum.  On the inside of the shank it is punch with 'PLAT 18CT' and a makers reference 'K917' Ruby = 0.75  carats approx. 8 Diamonds =  0.75 carats approx.

    A beautiful larger amethyst and diamond dress cluster ring. With a bright purple amethyst held in neat claw settings. This is surrounded by alternating larger brilliant cut diamonds and slightly smaller 8 cut diamonds, also on alternating levels. The higher row of diamonds are the larger brilliant cuts and the lower row being the 8 cuts. All mounted in 18ct white gold claw set settings and shank with solid sides.
