A very classical oval cut ruby ring surrounded by modern brilliant cut diamonds, all held in very neat 18ct White gold claw settings. There are 12 equal sized diamonds surrounding the central ruby, with the ruby slightly higher than the diamonds, as would be the case for most gemstone and diamond cluster rings. The shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold.

Ruby = 1.41 carats 12 Diamonds = 0.74 carat London 2003 Made by A.J.W Second HandThis superb Art Deco emerald and diamond cluster ring, with a square cut central Emerald surrounded by 8 Victorian cut diamonds, each set in pairs around the central emerald. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926 Square emerald measures 3.9mm x 3.7mm x 1.9mm 4 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.25ct approx. All the mounting is surely made in platinum with a millegrain finish. The shank joins in a traditional split leaf and shoulder style finish.
