Yellow Sapphire and blue Sapphire drop abstract brooch/pendant, 18ct gold mount
This brooch is a modern abstract piece made by our makers in Switzerland. This being a one off unique design, has the main feature being three large emerald cut sapphires, the central yellow sapphire most likely being unheated and flanked on either side by a light blue Ceylon sapphire, all held in their own individual settings with four claws and free to swing. The central yellow has a split white gold with a single modern brilliant cut diamond. The sapphires are suspend from a white and yellow gold tube with a tapered arrow of gold set with four graduated brilliant cut diamonds and above this rests at an angle a long baguette cut diamond. All held from a tapering textured yellow gold conical drop. All gold being of 18ct gold.
The brooch pin is very cleverly designed and held in a trombone catch that also allows the brooch to be worn on a necklet as a pendant without the pin catching the skin.
3 Sapphires = 6.70cts
5 Brilliant cut Diamonds = 0.15ct
