Topaz single stone ring with princess cut diamond step shoulders mounted in all 18ct yellow gold. The oblong orange topaz has been repolished and is held with 4 double claws at each corner and the princess cut diamond set shoulders are mounted in secure bar settings running along the finger. The D shaped shank slightly tapers to the shoulder of the end diamonds and on the inside has full assay.

To either side of the central diamond are well matched real pearls, both measuring 3.6mm in diameter. The D shape shank tapers from the pearls and inside the shank are Swedish hallmarks. The ring was made in 1942 and typical of this time the 18ct gold mounting is a lovely rosey colour. Diamond = 0.35cts approx. Maker - Gustav Dahlgren & Co. The square cut Aquamarine, is a bright vibrant stone which we have had re-polished. It is held in a 4 claw platinum setting, with an open gallery to view the full depth of the stone. The shoulders are set with 3 x 8 cut diamonds on each side, this is very typical of a ring made circa 1950. The shank joins the setting with chenier tubing in the split. The shank is made from 18ct white gold. The ring is punched with C & F as the makers, a superb firm started in 1917 and we have dealt with them right through their existence until the closed in the early 2000's. The ring also is punched Pt & 18ct for the metal and then an individual number of 5967, this is all a sign of a quality maker. Surrounding this are 12 modern brilliant cut diamonds which are set in white gold claw settings. The shank is 18ct yellow gold.
