It is a very neat ring with  D shape profile, low and close to the finger making it very comfortable to wear. The front of the ring at the broadest point measures 6.7mm tapering to 3.4mm at the back.

The topaz is surrounded by fourteen brilliant cut diamonds set in a white gold millegrain setting. the whole head of the ring is very low to the finger and when viewed from underneath there is lovely webbed mounting.  The ring has an 18ct yellow gold D shape shank with chenier tube shoulders which taper to a point and inside a full traditional struck hallmark. Topaz = 1.50cts approx. 14 diamonds = 0.35cts approx. All three a bright, well matched, vibrant aquamarine, and interspaced by 3 modern brilliant cut diamonds. Following the curvature of the ovals, the middle diamond is slightly smaller and the other two diamonds are much bigger to fill in the space between the aquamarines. All the mounting is surely made in platinum with a millegrain finish. The shank joins in a traditional split leaf and shoulder style finish. The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. This is flanked with diamond set sides, unusually on all 4 of the long sides, and even more unusually is that 3 of them have 3 8 cut diamonds and the fourth side has 4 x 8 cut diamonds. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. The square cut Aquamarine, is a bright vibrant stone which we have had re-polished. It is held in a 4 claw platinum setting, with an open gallery to view the full depth of the stone. The shoulders are set with 3 x 8 cut diamonds on each side, this is very typical of a ring made circa 1950. The shank joins the setting with chenier tubing in the split. The shank is made from 18ct white gold. The ring is punched with C & F as the makers, a superb firm started in 1917 and we have dealt with them right through their existence until the closed in the early 2000's. The ring also is punched Pt & 18ct for the metal and then an individual number of 5967, this is all a sign of a quality maker.
