It is a very neat ring with D shape profile, low and close to the finger making it very comfortable to wear. The front of the ring at the broadest point measures 6.7mm tapering to 3.4mm at the back.

The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. This is flanked with diamond set sides, unusually on all 4 of the long sides, and even more unusually is that 3 of them have 3 8 cut diamonds and the fourth side has 4 x 8 cut diamonds. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. The shank is a two row shank at the front that fades to a single shank towards the rear. The diamonds are extremely neatly set with a white gold underneath, this would have been particularly expensive to do and means the ring will have been handmade in its entirety. The maker of this ring was the renowned Deakin & Francis of Birmingham and Assayed in Birmingham in 1988 The Citrine has been re-polished by our lapidary in London and then very neatly set back in to the ring.
