| Description | Royal Army Medical Corps, regimental bar brooch, with green enamelled wreath and enamelled Kings Crown, 9ct gold mount. Second Hand | The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart bar brooch with very fine hand pierced central 'L' interlaced and reversed of the late Princess Louise. To the left is a boar's head, to the right a wild cat and above the Princess's Royal Ducal Coronet. Below a blue enamel ribbon with "THE ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS". The brooch is mounted in 15ct yellow gold with a platinum faced bar. On the top of the bar it has been stamped "15CT" and to the reverse the pin fastens securely in a safety style C catch. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces and in the case of this brooch it has then been faced with Platinum on top of the bar. The pin is stamped "9CT" for a 9ct yellow gold pin. Measures 51mm wide x 17mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Sapphire quatrefoil bar brooch, with seed pearl circular surround. 4 round cut sapphires set in millenarian mount with central seed pearl, each seed pearl will be set in plaster of Paris and all in 15ct gold mount. Comes in Original Fitted case Circa 1910 Second Hand Length 5.9cms | Royal Army Ordnance Corps, regimental brooch in 9ct yellow gold. With blue enamelled Moto and Regiment within the Garter and scroll and central shield bearing the Ordnance Arms with blue, white and red enamelling, and finished with the red enamelled Kings Crown. Excellent condition for the enamel and craftsmanship. The gold is all with a lovely satinised finish, and is secured with a handmade Tiffany catch. Measures 2.4cm wide x 3cm high Supplied in a Connards presentation box Second Hand | This is an individual brooch by the superb makers E. Wolfe & Co. established in 1850 and specialise in making bird and animal jewellery, with each piece being unique. The Alsation is made from 18ct gold, which is exquisitely hand chased to create the effect of the fur. Set with cabochon cut Sapphires for its eyes and with black onyx set for its nose. The piece is completed with an 18ct white gold moveable collar set with a diamond for that added luxury. Secured with a Trombone brooch fastener for safety, this gives it extra strength in how it supports the brooch. Measures 5.4cm long from Head to tail | 3.2cm high from Ears to feet | King's Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch "KING"S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls "IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA" A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch. The piece is made in three separate pieces, the most expensive method of making and all riveted at the back.
