Made by Bentley & Skinner, London Measures 41mm wide x 16mm high Supplied in a Connards Presentation BoxKing's Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch "KING"S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls "IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA" A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch. The piece is made in three separate pieces, the most expensive method of making and all riveted at the back. To the rear the 9ct gold pin securely fastens in a C catch.There are no hallmarks on the brooch. Measures 27mm wide x 32mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second HandA superb example of one quality Regimental brooch. The Royal Engineers sweetheart brooch with a diamond set laurel wreath surrounding the latin Moto - "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" all enamelled in blue with Queen Elizabeth II insignia in the centre. Embellished with a white gold crown and red enamel. All made in 9ct white gold and with 9ct yellow gold used around the enamelled parts. This a most beautiful brooch, and originally made and retailed by Garrards of London. It will have been made by the family company of J.W Barrett in Birmingham who specialised in making Regimental Brooches. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1976 Measures 23mm wide x 27mm high Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second HandThe Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart bar brooch with very fine hand pierced central 'L' interlaced and reversed of the late Princess Louise. To the left is a boar's head, to the right a wild cat and above the Princess's Royal Ducal Coronet. Below a blue enamel ribbon with "THE ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS". The brooch is mounted in 15ct yellow gold with a platinum faced bar. On the top of the bar it has been stamped "15CT" and to the reverse the pin fastens securely in a safety style C catch. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces and in the case of this brooch it has then been faced with Platinum on top of the bar. The pin is stamped "9CT" for a 9ct yellow gold pin. Measures 51mm wide x 17mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand  Indian Medical Service sweetheart brooch with a gold laurel wreath surrounding the latin Moto - "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" all enamelled in blue with gold serpent and staff in the centre. To the bottom "INDIAN MEDICAL SERVICE" in a blue enamelled ribbon and at the top a King's crown in gold and red enamel. All made in 9ct yellow gold. On the reverse the pin fastens with a handmade tiffany catch and clearly punched full hallmark.
