A bright and beautiful single round Peridot mounted on a 15ct yellow gold bar brooch. The Peridot is mounted in a solid rub-over setting with a very fine millegrain bead edge which is held with 4 fine twisted wires on either side. To the reverse is a rose gold pin closing into a handmade safety ‘c’ catch and a clear ’15CT’ punch dating this piece to the early 20th Century. There is a ring for a safety chain to be added which we would recommend and supply with compliments.

Measurements - 63mm W x 8mm H Second Hand | The Loyal Regiment, regimental bar brooch, 9ct gold mount with red enamelled Rose of Lancaster and blue enamelled ribbon motto surmounted by a the Royal Crest, a crowned lion standing on a red enamelled Kings Crown. Excellent condition of enamel and gold. The brooch is secured in place with a handmade Tiffany catch. Measures 5.0cm long x 2.1cm high Supplied in a Connards presentation box Second Hand | Naval Cap sweetheart Regimental brooch in 15ct yellow gold with green and red enamelled Kings Crown. The fouled anchor centre is assumed to be platinum surrounded by 15ct gold laurel leaves. On the reverse the pin fastens securely in a handmade rollover safety catch and '15CT' is clearly stamped at the bottom in the centre. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces. The diamonds each mounted in four claw 18ct white gold and the rubies in four claw 18ct yellow gold settings. Fitted with a traditional rollover safety catch on the pin fastening. Comes complete with a ring for a safety chain, which would be supplied and fitted without charge. 12 Rubies = 1.51 carats 8 Diamonds = 0.69 carat Measures 27mm x 22mm | This is an individual brooch by the superb makers E.
