The opals are all oval cut and with the typical smooth polished cabochon cuts. These are interspaced with a pair of diamonds between each opal, with a crossover effect of the settings for the diamonds.

Size: 8.1mm x 19mm English Made London 1994 SECOND HANDSapphire and diamond cluster ring, set in 18ct white gold claw setting and yellow gold shank. Three round cut sapphires surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds 3 Sapphires = 1.17cts 12 Diamonds = 0.99ctA beautiful ruby and diamond oval cluster ring. With a bright red oval cut central ruby held in neat claw settings, surrounded by 8 modern brilliant cut diamonds, in smooth rubber settings. Interspaced with calibre Kite shape cut rubies to fill in the outer ring, all held in a smooth 18ct white gold rub over settings. With 2 brilliant cut diamonds to each shoulder, set in white gold. With a broader 18ct yellow gold shank. This ring is just as nice on the underneath with the pierced web detail and fully hallmarked. 1 Ruby = 1.15cts approx. 8 Diamonds = 0.80ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.15ct approx. The central amethyst is a hexagonal cut and with a rich depth to the colour, this is held neatly in double white gold claws at each point. The amethyst is surrounded by modern brilliant cut diamonds, with the addition of the diamonds on the 6 points being slightly larger than the following 2 diamonds running alongside the edge of the amethyst. The entire setting for all of the stones is 18ct white gold and the shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold. The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926 Square emerald measures 3.9mm x 3.7mm x 1.9mm 4 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.25ct approx.
