An 8.0mm cultured pearl surround by 12 brilliant cut diamonds mounted in all 18ct gold. The pearl is secured with a cup and post fitting and the diamonds are mounted in 18ct white gold neat five claw settings. The flat band shank is in all 18ct yellow gold and tapers to a fine point on the shoulder of the diamonds. Overall measurements of the head of the ring are 10.3mm high from the finger and 13.8mm diameter.

The oblong orange topaz has been repolished and is held with 4 double claws at each corner and the princess cut diamond set shoulders are mounted in secure bar settings running along the finger. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926 Square emerald measures 3.9mm x 3.7mm x 1.9mm 4 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.25ct approx. The central oval cut fire opal is held securely with four claws, to either side are twin brilliant cut diamond shoulders and a pendeloque fire opal. The D shape shank tapers to a fine point meeting the point of the fire opal. The square cut Aquamarine, is a bright vibrant stone which we have had re-polished. It is held in a 4 claw platinum setting, with an open gallery to view the full depth of the stone. The shoulders are set with 3 x 8 cut diamonds on each side, this is very typical of a ring made circa 1950. The shank joins the setting with chenier tubing in the split. The shank is made from 18ct white gold. The ring is punched with C & F as the makers, a superb firm started in 1917 and we have dealt with them right through their existence until the closed in the early 2000's. The ring also is punched Pt & 18ct for the metal and then an individual number of 5967, this is all a sign of a quality maker.
