The case is all English Made from solid Mahogany and beautifully hand polished. The high quality bell strike movement strikes once on the half hour and the corresponding number on the hour. Size 24cm(H) x 18(W) x 9.5(D) RRP £1,200.00 | Solid brass David Peterson Corniche carriage clock with quartz movement. Bevelled glass and white dial with black Roman numerals and Breguet style hands. Dial is named with David Peterson as opposed to Woodford as shown on image, otherwise the identical clock. Ideal for Presentations, a quality heavy brass case. Size 15.4cm(H) x 7.6(W) x 5.9(D) | A superb example of the clock made by the London maker Joseph Knibb (1640-1711) with a tripe chime movement. The walnut case is decorated with burr walnut veneers and fine marquetry panels. The marquetry depicts birds and flower motifs popular in cabinet work of the William and Mary period. The hood is decorated with barley twist pillars and hand cut fret work. The solid brass dial has cherub spandrels, silver plated chapter ring and blue lacquered period hands.
