Three round cut sapphires surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds 3 Sapphires = 1.17cts 12 Diamonds = 0.99ctThis stunning oblong Ruby and Diamond plaque cluster ring is set with the added feature of 3 Real Pearls, the central smaller pearl is surrounded by 6 rubies and then the Victorian cut diamonds are set along the remainder of the ring, interspaced with a large Real Pearl at each ends. For both style and comfort the corners are cut at a 45 degree angle. The ring is curved over the finger and sits very low to the finger. The sides are all hand pierced with a beautiful gallery and the shank is a split shank with leaf centre. Measures 22.8mm x 15.2mm 6 Rubies = 1.00 carats approx. 30 Diamonds = 1.00 carats approx. Circa 1910/1920 Second HandAquamarine and diamond nine stone ring, with three large oval cut aquamarines, the central slightly bigger than the outer pair. All three a bright, well matched, vibrant aquamarine, and interspaced by 3 modern brilliant cut diamonds. Following the curvature of the ovals, the middle diamond is slightly smaller and the other two diamonds are much bigger to fill in the space between the aquamarines. All the mounting is surely made in platinum with a millegrain finish. The shank joins in a traditional split leaf and shoulder style finish. This ring is superbly made by hand by our best Craftsman in Yorkshire. The setting is neat low profile, keeping the ring low to the finger. The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. This is flanked with diamond set sides, unusually on all 4 of the long sides, and even more unusually is that 3 of them have 3 8 cut diamonds and the fourth side has 4 x 8 cut diamonds. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. The central amethyst is a hexagonal cut and with a rich depth to the colour, this is held neatly in double white gold claws at each point. The amethyst is surrounded by modern brilliant cut diamonds, with the addition of the diamonds on the 6 points being slightly larger than the following 2 diamonds running alongside the edge of the amethyst. The entire setting for all of the stones is 18ct white gold and the shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold.
