The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. This is flanked with diamond set sides, unusually on all 4 of the long sides, and even more unusually is that 3 of them have 3 8 cut diamonds and the fourth side has 4 x 8 cut diamonds. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. The centre in this gem cluster is a Victorian cut diamond, which is surrounded by a further 4 Victoria cut diamonds at the quarter. All held in neat grain style settings in platinum. There are then 4 square cut Emeralds positioned in the corners, held in platinum settings. The shank is all in 18ct yellow gold with a nice fine taper towards the setting. One of the Emeralds has two small pieces out, we decided not to replace it, as it would be almost impossible to obtain an emerald to match for colour and brightness, and style of cut for the age of ring.  The inside  of the shank is stamped with an individual No W859 1 Diamonds = 0.30ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.70ct approx.
