The central amethyst is an Emerald cut and with a rich depth to the colour, this is held neatly in white gold claws on all sides. The amethyst is surrounded by modern 14 modern brilliant cut diamonds, there are 3 each at top and bottom and 4 on each side. The entire setting for all of the stones is in 18ct white gold and the shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold.

With a bright red oval cut central ruby held in neat claw settings, surrounded by 8 modern brilliant cut diamonds, in smooth rubber settings. Interspaced with calibre Kite shape cut rubies to fill in the outer ring, all held in a smooth 18ct white gold rub over settings. With 2 brilliant cut diamonds to each shoulder, set in white gold. With a broader 18ct yellow gold shank. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926 Square emerald measures 3.9mm x 3.7mm x 1.9mm 4 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.25ct approx. All three a bright, well matched, vibrant pink sapphires and interspaced by three modern brilliant cut diamonds. Following the curvature of the ovals, the middle diamond is slightly smaller and the other two diamonds are much bigger to fill in the space between the pink sapphires.
