With a bright red oval cut central ruby held in neat claw settings, surrounded by 8 modern brilliant cut diamonds, in smooth rubber settings. Interspaced with calibre Kite shape cut rubies to fill in the outer ring, all held in a smooth 18ct white gold rub over settings. With 2 brilliant cut diamonds to each shoulder, set in white gold. With a broader 18ct yellow gold shank. The large square Aquamarine with cut corners is held with 4 strong square claws in the corners. This is flanked with diamond set sides, unusually on all 4 of the long sides, and even more unusually is that 3 of them have 3 8 cut diamonds and the fourth side has 4 x 8 cut diamonds. The mounting is once again all individually made for this exact stone, with as low a profile as is possible given the size of this ring. The mounting is a combination of platinum for the settings and 18ct white gold for the shank. The ring will date to the 1930's and we have extensively re-polished the aquamarine by specialist stone polishers in London. The weight originally being 15.08cts and now weighing 13.70cts. But has given this ring a transformation and new lease of life. The central amethyst is a hexagonal cut and with a rich depth to the colour, this is held neatly in double white gold claws at each point. The amethyst is surrounded by modern brilliant cut diamonds, with the addition of the diamonds on the 6 points being slightly larger than the following 2 diamonds running alongside the edge of the amethyst. The entire setting for all of the stones is 18ct white gold and the shank of the ring is 18ct yellow gold. This superb Art Deco emerald and diamond cluster ring, with a square cut central Emerald surrounded by 8 Victorian cut diamonds, each set in pairs around the central emerald. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders.
