This is a beautiful multi gemstone spray basket brooch. The variation of Gemstones adds colour and vibrancy to this exquisite piece of jewellery. The different cuts of stones gives variety and interspersed are round white Akoya cultured pearls. All of this is set upon a hand pierced basket made out of 9ct yellow gold with a curving handle set with leaves.
Gemstones are: Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Almandine Garnet, Blue Zircon, Green and Pink Tourmalines

Gemstones are: Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Almandine Garnet, Blue Zircon, Green and Pink Tourmalines Measures 4.7cms wide x 4.0cms High Handmade in Birmingham by Deakin and Francis Established 1786 Birmingham 1955 Second Hand | The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart bar brooch with very fine hand pierced central 'L' interlaced and reversed of the late Princess Louise. To the left is a boar's head, to the right a wild cat and above the Princess's Royal Ducal Coronet. Below a blue enamel ribbon with "THE ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS". The brooch is mounted in 15ct yellow gold with a platinum faced bar. On the top of the bar it has been stamped "15CT" and to the reverse the pin fastens securely in a safety style C catch. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces and in the case of this brooch it has then been faced with Platinum on top of the bar. The pin is stamped "9CT" for a 9ct yellow gold pin. Measures 51mm wide x 17mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Sapphire quatrefoil bar brooch, with seed pearl circular surround. 4 round cut sapphires set in millenarian mount with central seed pearl, each seed pearl will be set in plaster of Paris and all in 15ct gold mount.
