The central oval cut sapphire is flanked either side with a modern brilliant cut diamond, all of the stones are held in a traditional claw setting and with a yellow gold shank. Sapphire = 0.66 carat 2 Diamonds = 0.29 carat Measures 6.5mm x 13.8mm overallA Citrine single stone ring. Emerald cut in shape, and all beautifully mounted in 9ct yellow gold. With a four claw setting, with the elongated claws in the corners. A pierced gallery around the setting and with a slightly tapering shank. This in turn is surrounded by a full row of calibre cut emeralds with a larger square cut emerald at 2,4,8 and 10. The larger square calibre gives that extra detail which helps to make this such an exquisite ring and typical of a ring made in the 1930s. All the settings are very fine millegrain. There are very fine diamond set shoulders with 2 eight cut diamonds set neatly in to the shoulders. The ring is stamped with the French Mascaron mark for Platinum which was only used between 1913 and 1926 Square emerald measures 3.9mm x 3.7mm x 1.9mm 4 Diamonds = 0.40ct approx. 4 Diamonds = 0.25ct approx.
