Ruby and Diamond Vintage Cluster Plaque Ring, 18ct Gold Mount

This stunning oblong Ruby and Diamond plaque cluster ring is set with the added feature of 3 Real Pearls, the central smaller pearl is surrounded by 6 rubies and then the Victorian cut diamonds are set along the remainder of the ring, interspaced with a large Real Pearl at each ends. For both style and comfort the corners are cut at a 45 degree angle.

The ring is curved over the finger and sits very low to the finger. The sides are all hand pierced with a beautiful gallery and the shank is a split shank with leaf centre.

The central oval cut fire opal is held securely with four claws, to either side are twin brilliant cut diamond shoulders and a pendeloque fire opal. The D shape shank tapers to a fine point meeting the point of the fire opal. Surrounding it are 12 modern brilliant cut diamonds set in to an 18ct white gold square setting, all diamonds are of equal size and each one is held in a very neat 4 claw setting. The ring has 9 diamonds on each shoulder leading up to the central cluster. The mount itself is a millegrain Halo style that allows a wedding ring or an eternity ring to sit flush, as the setting a sits above the ring it is worn next to. The shank is also in all 18ct white gold. With a baguette cut diamond on either side at right angles to the central amethyst to give width across the finger. These diamonds are set in 18ct white gold rub over settings and the yellow gold shank has split shoulders where the diamonds are set and these splits curving out towards the corner claws.
