Excellent condition of enamel and gold. The brooch is secured in place with a handmade Tiffany catch. Measures 5.0cm long x 2.1cm high Supplied in a Connards presentation box Second HandLarge round amethyst set in 15ct gold hand pierced mount, with Celtic surround. Second hand Circa Early 1900s Diameter 3.2cms9ct yellow gold Handsom Cab brooch, made with running horse attached to the cab set with a princess cut aquamarine. Rose gold rotating wheels and white gold reins and lamp. Made by specialist Birmingham jewellers Alabaster and Wilson Length 3.3cmKing's Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch "KING"S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls "IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA" A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch.
