Comes in Original Fitted case Circa 1910 Second Hand Length 5.9cms | 9ct yellow gold Handsom Cab brooch, made with running horse attached to the cab set with a princess cut aquamarine. Rose gold rotating wheels and white gold reins and lamp. Made by specialist Birmingham jewellers Alabaster and Wilson Length 3.3cm | The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart bar brooch with very fine hand pierced central 'L' interlaced and reversed of the late Princess Louise. To the left is a boar's head, to the right a wild cat and above the Princess's Royal Ducal Coronet. Below a blue enamel ribbon with "THE ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS". The brooch is mounted in 15ct yellow gold with a platinum faced bar. On the top of the bar it has been stamped "15CT" and to the reverse the pin fastens securely in a safety style C catch. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces and in the case of this brooch it has then been faced with Platinum on top of the bar. The pin is stamped "9CT" for a 9ct yellow gold pin. Measures 51mm wide x 17mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Ruby and diamond oval open "Circle" brooch, this beautifully attractive brooch, with four pairs of modern brilliant cut diamonds, each separated by 3 rubies in a classical oval shaped brooch. The diamonds each mounted in four claw 18ct white gold and the rubies in four claw 18ct yellow gold settings. Fitted with a traditional rollover safety catch on the pin fastening. Comes complete with a ring for a safety chain, which would be supplied and fitted without charge. 12 Rubies = 1.51 carats 8 Diamonds = 0.69 carat Measures 27mm x 22mm | King's Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch "KING"S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls "IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA" A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch. The piece is made in three separate pieces, the most expensive method of making and all riveted at the back. To the rear the 9ct gold pin securely fastens in a C catch.There are no hallmarks on the brooch. Measures 27mm wide x 32mm tall Supplied in a Connards Presentation box Second Hand | Naval Cap sweetheart Regimental brooch in 15ct yellow gold with green and red enamelled Kings Crown. The fouled anchor centre is assumed to be platinum surrounded by 15ct gold laurel leaves. On the reverse the pin fastens securely in a handmade rollover safety catch and '15CT' is clearly stamped at the bottom in the centre. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces.
