With a baguette cut diamond on either side at right angles to the central amethyst to give width across the finger. These diamonds are set in 18ct white gold rub over settings and the yellow gold shank has split shoulders where the diamonds are set and these splits curving out towards the corner claws. There are then 4 square cut Emeralds positioned in the corners, held in platinum settings. The shank is all in 18ct yellow gold with a nice fine taper towards the setting. One of the Emeralds has two small pieces out, we decided not to replace it, as it would be almost impossible to obtain an emerald to match for colour and brightness, and style of cut for the age of ring.
