Sat upon this is a gold bee with diamond set pierced platinum wings with a ruby eye. This is a unique brooch made to an exceptional standard.

In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch "KING"S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS".
